Only $500?

You should try a 200,000km service on a diesel Landcruiser...

About $1300... :/

On topic though, With my BA, I found it much cheaper to take it to an independent (non-Ford-dealer) place that can deal with warranty jobs etc - cheaper, REAL service, and knowing that 1st year apprentices aren't pulling my $50,000 car apart badly... lol.

$55K is exactly FPV territory !!!!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

How do you figure that? AFAIK the cheapest FPV product is the F6 which retails for $58K (starting price, add leather, Brembos and onroads etc). You might be lucky enough to pick up a runout F6 for a bit less but that is the retail on them.

GTs and GT-Ps are of course dearer again.

I doubt you can drive away in an E9 for 56k either. Both cars are base retail price and he did say 'territory' meaning 'ballpark'

~3k with no wheeling or dealing.. zoom zoom, ahh nope..

I'm with Ross here....

Spec up a F6 to match the interior stuffs on the MPS Leather/bose pack and I think you'll hit about $63K + luxury car tax to further sting

The MPS ofcourse falls under the LCT threshhold...

As for the AWD system, it's a bit different to what some have described in this thread, it's certainly not a complete lame duck....

I'll be looking at one to replace the XR6T whent he time comes, but I'll be looking at a lot of things :)

My local Mazda dealer has the Mazda Roadshow in town tomorrow and Thursday so l have booked a drive of the MP6. Got the brocuhres in the mail, l reckon its a nice classy looking car with a lot of fruit for $54k. Xenons, glass sunroof, leather, Bose stereo etc.

By far my best car ownershp experience was a Mazda MX-6, it was a lovely car, great quality, satisfying to drive and to top it off the dealership service matched the car.

Will try and get some pics for those interested.
