I thought u said you had had your best results out of it.........

DW said he got the best results out of it in BRISBANE.

He reckons the Ultimate up here is inferior to that in the southern states.

Something just doesn't sound right about that...

This boost stuff should have the pinging tendancy of a low level race fuel (but race fuel nonetheless), which is much sounder than anything you can buy at the pump.

That is, it SHOULD have this quality, maybe the production mix has a lower percentage of oxygen mixed through, because it just shouldn't be possible to get a better timing range out of a non alcohol fuel than with one....

I think we'll all have to wait and see.....

there is one particular bp in brisbane that has sh1t ultimate (if ultimate at all).. My missus use to fill her tank there. I could always tell when I got into the car after she had filled up...

in brisbane most BP's are now seven-eleven franchises/bp's.... If I fill up that these particular joints the car runs rough and gets slight pinging...

any other BP I have no problems... stay away from the seven-eleven bp's :kissmy:

APS also use to comment on the difference of fuel quality in different cities...

Do you not agree with these comments/thoughts??

No I just recon if there is that much difference in fuel quality then they should be reported... that's shocking, they must be selling lower fuel at the higher prices and that is against the law.

Or are they made at different refineries etc??...

none the less... there is a definate difference from the BP-7-11 to the normal BP.

the thing is most of them are the 7-11 bp's now.

I now drive a few more kilometres to make sure I get a better batch of fuel.

Sounds like its a very wise thing to do if its that bad dude. We dont have much choice here we only have Ultimate as our high end fuel. Works well enough but.
