You dont have to get it in that colour, it comes in black and another colour too.

It would look awesome in black!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Sure they make other colours. I would have thought that the signature colour that they promote as being exclusive to that CV8Z model could have been chosen to be more appealing.

Looks like they had too much Tiger Mica left over from the VT range. Why would you bring out a colour that's almost identical to one of the past.

My take is this - The 20 something year old team of desginers decided on a great colour, ran it past their 60 something year old manager (who lost touch with reality in the 70's). He didn't like it, so he decided to go with 'fusion' and told the paint department to mix up some 'tiger mica'..... and bingo!

Well done team Holden! - Good to see common sence prevail in the end! :tease:

I ve had a good look at one and I would own it  Only gripe would be the oil burning LS1 donk in it but if you thrash it from new ,you might be allright.

Seriosly,The build quility of the Expensive Daewoo could be no worse that that of Ford.My car has always got an issue with something.

I personally think they are an icon of our motoring heritage (albeit from the enemy) and its certainly sad too see them stop production.

They sure do have street cred in looks, style and performance.

Zed mate,

Don't be fooled, it is a cunning marketing ploy, they will re-release it in a couple of years due to 'public pressure' at a greatly inflated price.

Can't wait for Ford to do the same with the GT! :spit::spit:

I hear ya Al...but its always sad to see an Aussie vehicle stopping production for what ever reason. I hope you are right...but the way the Oil prices are going I think the V8 market will be a shrinking one (hope I'm wrong). Gees now let me think...wonder what a 2 door GT would look like...? XA anyone..?.. :spit:

Our LS1 hasnt missed a beat in the 50,000 k's its done, I think its a good engine, and seriously the build quality of our VY makes our T look like a Kia, never a problem with it and my T is going back every 6 weeks for something to be fixed.

Dazza.

Does the exhaust note from the ad sound familiar. Its the exhaust note from the supercharged TS50 from the Just Cars insurance ad. The only way they could get an LS1 to sound good was to use a Fords exhaust recording. No LS1 Expensive Daewoo could ever sound that good. OWNED.
