Capa Edit Just Done

Just got my capa edit done, we got it on the dino before, it had 196rw k. then after the edit only got to 217kw, I was told the dump pipe of the turbo had to be changed. Has anyone got any ideas.

what fuel did you have in the car, that might steal some horsepower if it is only low octane.

was it custom tuned or did you just flash in the generic tunes?

Who ever is telling you to change the dump pipe at 217rwkw's is an idiot or trying to rip you off. I still have the factory dump pipe at 385rwkw's and running mid 10's.

Who is tuning your car and how many custom tunes have they done. With edit alone you should be able to get 240rwkw's without many problems.

It was a custom tune, done by c&v performance

they didn't say something like dump valve?

It might have had a solonoid problem or actuator problem

because C\V should know it doesn't need a dump pipe.

they told me it was only on 8 pond boost, and towards the rrdline it was dropping of to 5 pounds, they told me I should change the front half of the equast and the cad.

maybe the cat is damaged,

but with a custom tune you would think they would check that,

how much did they charge edit and tune?

Did they suggest that you upgrade to a strengthened waste gate actuator spring as well
