Because were not using RCA's the signal is suffering hard. I have the premium too, but am not familiar with the utes set up. (my bro has a BAXR ute so might check it out). Do the utes have any rear speakers?? and were are you source in the amp signal from ie were have you connected the line level converter too. Cheers mate. I haven't disconnected my rear speakers like IH8PORK has done. The sound isn't excellent but it does the trick for now. I basically used a crimp-splice to connect my line level converter to the rear speaker signal. I asked a few people about impedance matching and the like but they told me it shouldn't cause a problem... the line level converters must have a very high impedance so as not to load up the deck... which could cause all sorts of problems. Un did the 4 screws and poped out the clips, however this is how far I got. I decided that I was on the verge of braking something so I retired to watch Pimp my Ride!! Anyway the aim was to connect the line level converter to the front splits to see if the subs sounded any different than when connected to the rear. Any ideas of how to connect to the front speakers without taking the door off?? Where I can access wires and what colour they are?? Cheers. Have you taken off the panel on the handle?
