Why would someone want to imitate something that already looks bodgey. Would be like Cro dressing up as a fat chick.

Huh , thought Ivy was a fat chick :stirthepot:

Rob,this Phoon envy thing is getting pretty serious. Better go and spend that valve spring money on some proper help Champ

We could always have a Stooge Hunters Intervention, for medicinal purposes only of course :hrmm:

No Phoon envy darl. If I had the money I'd get a GT-P, not a buffoon.

Oh $hit, I'm starting to sound like Farva now.

I saw on carsales.com a few weeks ago an AU series 1 forte 6 cyl with a T3 TS50 bodykit, and mark 2 BA GT stripes that had TS50 Turbo cut into them.. talk about an identity crisis.

I came across the same car on Tuesday and my t with 5,000 kms on it kick its ass hehe. The only mods on the t are aps pipes and f6 cold air intake. So it is all show no go lmao... :spoton: Why would you put the f6 bages on it it is fine if you like the look but if it does not have the go I feel that it makes you a boy racer.... What do you guys think???

I saw a gt mockup yesterday.. it was a red xt with the full kit. I reckon it actualy looked nice. it still had the xt front lights, and he had put mesh in both grilles. I wouldnt do it, but I think it looked great

each to their own.

It's sad but it's not the first and it definitely won't be the last. Get used to it I'm afraid.

Happens with all makes/models of cars. Look at all the riceburner R33 GTST Skylines driving around with GTR badges and kits......

commodores have been doing it for years, so whats so bad about it happening with falcons?

ive seen VX Clubby kits on VN's, VP's, VS's... but we havent seen a BA XR or GT kit on an old ED, EL or even AU...

if somone loves the look of a GT but cant afford one, they buy a xt or maybe an xr6 and throws a gt kit onto it...

they happy then

if they want to do it, I say let them go
