just finished reading the whole thread some of the economy figures blow my mind away,8-12.5L -100km are you for real.I would struggle to get those figures out of my lawn mower.City driving in sydney would be happy with anything just under 20L-100km and on the open road 12-13L-100km Cheers Nick

Mate I get 9.9L/100k on the freeway and 12.5 around town averages only with Caltex 98 and the car is barely run in yet.

I get 11.8 when not fanging it, 12.5 on average, and I got 135kms out of 1 full tank on my Sandown track night lol

Typically Caltex 98 and Shell 98... Sometime Mobil 98 or BP 98...

On the odd weekend ill use some 100 oct from a united servo with a bottle of oct pro boost, just cos I..... - come to think of it I have no idea! To waste some extra $$$ I guess!

I,m going to lose some weight of my foot it may be a little heavy,I Think.Going to drive it to QLD soon see what figures I come back with.

I had, pedantically, used NOTHING but BP Ultimate in my car.

Until friday and I couldn`t buy any at 3 different servo`s.

Not even 95.. So I drove into a Caltex, see what they had.. Woot, Vortex 98, I filled up from red light to the filler neck.

Seems okay, but no heavy footed driving thus far.
