I run premium unleaded in it. The Shell optimax is apparently heavier (or denser) than other normal premium unleaded fuels, and apparently doesnt atomise properly in a carbureted engine. Apaprently also this is not a problem in a fuel injected engine as it doesnt have jets or anything. And I also use boost98 with good results also.I've also had inconsistancies with BP ultimate in the past, and never really gone back to it since.. Although People will argue they are exactly the same as the mobile 8000..
