I run whatever. Ultimate, Vortex or 7eleven. I have found no difference. My motorbike was tuned on Ultimate and I had it back on the same Dyno after a couple of months using Vortex. Result was .2 HP higher so insignificant IMHO. Since then it mainly gets 7eleven as it's closest to home.

I've tried them all in the ute and have noticed no real difference. I generally go for Vortex since the missus shops at woolies. May as well get some discount on an 80L tank. Ultimate is generally the most expensive for no real reason.

Economy has been a consistent 15L/100km. Average speed about 32-36km/h. I drive it in traffic daily so not much I can do about economy anyway.

Only thing I wont use is Vpower. Wasn't good for the bike. Isn't going anywhere near the car.

7-11 is not 98 ron rated. So if tuned on 98 don't use it.

Personal preference is BP Ultimate followed by Vortex.

Optisoot is called that for a reason

The reason why Ulimate is more expensive is that there is no retail outlet ( Woolies and Coles)

offering discount dockets and offers to drive you into their supermarket and liquor outlets..

You pay anyway. Grow up if you can't see through this sham

Do you have proof of this?

What sham? The fact I have to get my groceries from somewhere? Be it Woolworths, Coles or IGA. Vortex is generally cheaper than Ultimate, even more so when you apply the discount. Seeing as in my experience there was no real difference between the two, I think I'll just keep putting Vortex in the car and continue to save X cents/L.

BP everyone talks about and believe them selfs and convincing from one mouth to another !! My cuz drives a merc C63 swears by vpower but doesn't mean nothing it's what suits your car and I strongly believe in sh*t petrol stations and dodgy ones . VPower all the way !!!

I've switched from BP Ultimate to Vortex 98 in the past two weeks and haven't noticed any difference.I've given the car some beans lately and everything seems fine.

The Caltex(Woolies) is the closer petrol station, actually I only live about 100 meters from an APCO petrol station(Vic) but I don't feel comfortable with that petrol brand.
