That looks fantastic, congratulations mate!!Wouldn't you know it, I had a yellow F6 yesterday for a short while while I was waiting for my partners car at the dealer. They were trying to convince me to buy it over a GT...lol It was a demo with leather etc. Took it up the freeway and then up to Mt lofty in the Adelaide hills. A very nice car indeed and quite a performer. The 6 speed is a sweet thing and well suited to the turbo. My head says this is a better car but my heart is V8 all the way. I must admit im getting addicted to the boost already haha..GT290 - I think I'll sort out the stereo install firstly, then look at an exhaust/cai/filter which will hold me over for a while, then go the whole EDIT/injectors etc.. probably get it lowered somewhere in there, although it all depends on if it will scrape going down my steepish driveway...Thanks guys re the gurgling noise.. I thought it might have been something like that but wasnt sure..

So compared to the modified GTP you drove, what's the F6 like?

So compared to the modified GTP you drove, what's the F6 like?hmm that modded GTP was pretty nice powerwise... compared to a stock GT it had waaaaaaaay more bottom end and from what I remember it had a bit more bottom end than the F6 as well.. it was definitely more powerful than a stock F6, and where the F6 seems to taper off a bit around 4500-5000rpm, the GTP kept on pulling harder..I guess it basically felt like a bigger version of the F6 if that makes sense... a normal GT doesnt have much down low but hits hard when you get to about 3800rpm+ ... this modded GTP seemed to fill the hole down low like an F6, yet still pull harder from 3800+ ..I think a modded F6 would eat it though..its really hard to say cause ive only just ticked over 250kms so im not fully opening my car up just yet, shifting before 4500rpm etc but still accelerating hard sometimes to run it in nicely..
