I wouldn't change the exhaust if I wasn't going to change the cat. If budget is a consideration put hot dogs where the centre muffler is and get a high flow cat. You could gut the factory cat and have it look like its still there or you could source a good highflow cat.

I'll second what geea said if you are on a budget...

If you do want a complete exhaust I am very happy with my APS system!

Good luck!!

Thanks guys for the feedback........

Geea, from what you have said, I already had the centre muffler removed and hotdogs put in..........I also had dual 2 1/2" pipes put in together with dual 2 1/2" tips........

As for power, I'm not really interested in more power........what I am really after is sound and was considering first Remus, but now interested in Herrod.. although several exhaust places are pushing their stuff........a high flow cat is an alternative though......ummmmm

Im also after sound too, I have the Remus from Cat back which cost $1400 there abouts from Autotechnique. I have been told to modify the cat to get the extra sound just like Brian has had done to his ute :glad:

Marcel,

If you are just after sound, try it with hotdogs out. You can spend alot of money on exhaust systems, often for not alot of return. If you are not chasing power, keep tinkering with what you have.

Luke.
