Yeh - well - I am only going by what the Ford guy told me, and he is going to be on the pit crew - so has a fairly good idea.

My Escort motor sits so that the middle of the motor is under the base of the windscreen. My seats are not moved back from standard - its just that the tunnel grew massively wider, so you dont have as much room left. The gearstick has a bend to bring it forward far enough to change gears. The passengers seat is further back and offset slightly so I dont elbow the passenger in the arm when changing gears!

So... I can see it definately can be done. The only problem I could forsee is heat, hopefully there is enough insulation to keep the heat of the Turbo out of the passengers compartment.

You can see that alot of work has gone into constructing that car. If you look closely it's very similar to supercar spec build. At the front nust behind the suspension mounts you can see where the roll cage comes through. Basically they have built a rollcage then built the shell around that.

I'm tipping the position of the engine combined with the gearbox will be mounted exactly central to the car, which in terms of weight distribution would be close to perfect eg like a ferrari but back to front, if you get my drift. Handling from that perspective must be awesome.

Must be fantastic to race, a real credit to whoever had the enginering forsyth to come up with that idea. Bloody Awesome! :spoton:

MENTAL!!!

I think it might smoke the Windsor powered jigga, xr6 typhoon that Windsor powered one was a ZX 351, I think that's what they called it.

The only other thing it would need would be AWD, then put NIZPRO's donk in and go chase down that Dahlback Golf :kissmy:
