I think that the motor is too far back to have if awd unfortunately.

I will give you some reports of how it goes in the Targa next month.

That thing would probably beat a WRC spec car up a hill (but not on dirt).... Now that's fast!

The sales manager at the local dealers called me down to have a look at the car today.

It is very well finished, looks like you could buy one like it really. The only issue is that to do anything eg change spark plugs you would need to drop the motor out.

There was a lot of speculation as to whether the photos were real or a chop - they are real. The motor is basically all inside the passengers compartment, but as the window is sloped at such an angle, and the dash is very deep, there is not much intrusion at all. The peddles and the seat are only moved back about 18 inches - and they probably only did it for better weight distribution - as they could have stayed where they were.

The power isnt huge, sounds like about 350kw at the flywheel, running 15 pounds of boost, using a six throttle body system (photo may show it).

The Diff and suspension are based around series 4 RX7 - with big AP Brakes, and Bilstein shocks.

Unfortunately they had some problems on the Targa, fuel surge caused possibly by an electrical fault - that melted some pistons. That was repaired, but their chances of a win were gone (after having to remove engine etc).

The car looks a little battered, stone chips etc, so must have done a few ks on the Targa still.

Apparently Steve Millen is good friends with Roger Donaldson (producer of the Fastest Indian movie) that's why the sponsorship is on the car.

Anyway - here are some photos:

For some reason he didnt believe me that I wanted the keys so I could open the boot up!

PS - apparently the car was betwen 1400 and 1500kgs - so not as light as I would have expected.
