Drivers and co-drivers seats are near where the back seat would normally be.This car is to be driven by Steve Millen and co driven by Ray Williams in the NZ Targa. Ford NZ backed an XR6T in the last Targa, but I think it was fairly standard, and way to heavy for the twisty roads. This one should be a weapon!Anyway - not really a modded XR6T, but cool all the same, particularly in the detail in how nicely everything has been made - eg the door trims moulded around the intrusion bars. Probably the coolest part - it almost looks standard from the outside.I would love to do this to my old Escort race car (currently has a 3 litre V6 mounted in a similar position). From what I was told the back of the front seats are about where the back seats normally start. You can kind of see the ears of the race seat through the rear window in the photo. Your head would be just pass the central pillar (side visibility wouldnt be good).
