ok here it goes comming back from the motorbike show with a mate in my ute decided to go the "scenic way" home and dabbed my pedal to the floor watching as the needle kept rising I discovered I was running out of road so did the sensible things and started on the brakes when suddenly yes you guessed it the brake pedal started to pulsate I know your thinking not another brake shudder thread but I stopped in time but did not like the shuddering, so my question it to you people if I put cross drilled or slotted rotors on my t will it do this or will it fix as I have read people who go to ford just keep going back the ute is an '03 model and is still under warranty but is it worth it taking back to ford or just buying \ upgrading the rotors?

Hey mate PM bcr01 about the PBR upgrade. For about 2 grand you get EXACTLEY the same pakage as the ford premo option this will certainly stop the shudder

Atleast your car came to a full-stop. Unlike your post, where there was no sign of one.......

Cross drilled are not reccomonded. They can warp, or so I've heard..

:)

I got pbr slotted disks and bendix ultimate pads after a incicdent like the one you described, it been a hard driven 15000ks since then and no sign of the brake shudder returning, it cost me under $400 (Front only) and havent looked back

The slotted rotors will fix the shudder but ONLY if you change the pads at the same time (to something like Bendix Ultimate or QFM).

I belive that goes with out saying it's like rebuilding a transmission and using the old oil :spoton: but seeing some mechanics work I guess it has been done
