Guest fetish Guests Posted 18/09/05 03:43 AM Share Posted 18/09/05 03:43 AM Ive noticed that people who have installed aftermarket head units such as screens have installed them below the standard stereo and climate control in front of the gear stick.is it possible to remove the standard stereo and fit an after market unit in its place? if the plastic trimming can come off easily and is not attached to the stereo or fan/temp controls then fibreglassing a custom centre console isnt a huge problem. it could be made to fit in lace of the original item leaving a standard din size whole to fit a new deck? does anyone know if this is possible or is every attached as one whole unit??
