Hi Guys

My wife decided to wash the engine grrrrrrrrrrrr of my T. Now it seems like it is running on 5 cylinders. I have blown the engine bay with compressed air and now its sitting in the sun with the bonnet up. Any ideas????????

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Cowie

Try blowing out all the electrical connections in the engine bay, you may need to unplug them and do them individually. Could be one of the injector connectors or one of the coil pack conectors.Good luck

I wash my engine bay every time I wash the car and have no problems at all.

Look behind the Left hand headlight and you will find 2 connectors.Unplug them and make sure they're dry.Washing the engines in these vehicles normally doesnt bother them since they don't have distributors any more.Have seen a few with moisture in these connectors that effects the running.(Can even make them not start at all)
