I then though that I went over someting on the road which hit the car but there was nothing on the road. this is the second time this has happened and I though that maybe the diff fell off.the car seems to be running fine still. do you think that I should get it checked out. anyone else had this? I just realized that I have changed from using optimax to caltex and have been putting the normal premium in with a normal unleaded in between.could this be it? Does the car still go OK if you give it some stick? If it does, then it definitely wont be a broken CV.It does sound like it's just a loud backfire.Ross Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/20102-an-almighty-bang/#findComment-294824 Share on other sites
