Not true, CJF. I'm getting Plexis Grey: The XR6 logo is in Grey on darker trim. Looks great. You can get the XR6 logo in Red, Blue, Purple and Grey.

But not on leather. On leather it's red.

On cloth it's the colour of the Plexis.

Well I went with the leather. I agree with the comments your wives have made on the patterns. Why spend all that hard earned and have the interior ruined by garish splashes of colour - (opinionated person choice here). But then I am conservative with interiors. Exterior colours I don't mind being bright or wild but you have to live in the interior.

I have leather in my car. I think its great. The only thing I dont like is the fact that the coloured XR logo can only be in Red, Red and.... Red. They should make the logo the same colour as the car. Also wouldn't mind the logo being imprinted into the back seats as well..

I agree...I would have been nice to have colour coded logos and ones on the back as well....Lets face it for the (almost) $2K they should've been able to spring for that

Actually, it's a funny thing about Australian "Sports Sedans". They've always got overtly loud (I believe women call it tacky) seat patterns. I'm not sure why that is, given that the sort of people that are buying the XR6T (my opinion anyway) are likely to want something with a bit more class rather than something overly loud.

We got the phantom cloth, and l think it looks wonderful. l was concerned that it may have been a bit lairy, but once l seen it l knew we made the right decision. It goes great with the dash, and silver highlights used. Suits the 'personality' of the car l reckon.

Different strokes for different folks :)

Let me try and put all your leather concerns to rest.

The part of the seat that your bum sits on and the back is perforated which stops the sweating and sliding. In addition the sides of the seat come up quite high on the outside of your thighs.

All in all I have taken some quick corners and not moved an inch in the seat.

Bum in a bucket.

I reckon the leather is definately the way to go.

Smells good too.

Like everyone I think Ford got it wrong and the logo should be the colour of the car.

Same here guys. The wife does not like the cloth trim patern.. But not sure about the leather with heat and the extra $2k. Have gone the grey cloth (the only option with Congo green anyway in the cloth)... What is it with the interior colour designers these days. If a woman is running it (like at Ford and Holden) you would think they would get the colours and paterns correct so that other Women like them therefore to allow there bloke to get the car they want!!! ;-)

Yeah the leather is beautiful.... Considering my car is Silhouette I was expecting the car to be quite warm after a hot couple of hours in the sun but I was pleasantly surprised that the tint had a marked effect on the inside temperature and the a/c soon dissipated the remaining heat. The only thing that was hot in the car was the gear knob.

I think you should be able to choose the colour of the XR imprints. XR in Silhouette wouldn't have been too noticable on the black leather...
