Your feedback would be appreciated.Cheers,Muzzzza...

I believe they are under a lot of pressure meet the standards and discourage owners from modifying exhausts that don’t meet the ADR, hence a lot of warranty is rejected on the grounds the exhaust has been tampered with making the vehicle illegal and non ADR compliant. All sounds like Crap to me.. What a load of BS.Rang Ford, they cant even tell me what the noise level should be based on their testing.

This will unavoidably be at your expense at this stage. If the noise level is in compliance with the ADRs you then seek legal advice about suing the officer personally for his complaint against you which was unfounded. It has to be unfounded if it was done by ear - can't see how that could possibly ever hold up in court. You seek compensation from him personally for your out of pocket expenses for having the test done and for your legal fees. Try for damages as well for the stress it has caused you.If the noise level is found to be excessive then you get your solititor to write to Ford seeking rectification of the problem, compensation, and damages for the stress etc that it has caused you. Finally, it is total BS that Ford cannot give you the exhaust noise levels of the car - they have to comply with rigorous testing to ensure the car complies with all the ADRs so of course they have the data. Get your solicitor onto them. Maybe they will realise you're serious when they get a letter from him threatening whatever legal actions he can think of.Good luck mate, and keep us informed how it goes....
