Stuff all that, I want more power if I am to look at a new T in a year or so.

If Ford dont pick up their act soon, we will all be totally wiped out by 6 litre LS2 SS's, which are expected on our roadsOct-Nov this year.

At that time, we can all expect to be whipped by every single new SS we come up against....NOT GOOD!

So are those performance brakes the same as the optional ones now?

that's a great change if they are.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

They might actually be the brakes from the Territory. Makes sense as they are bigger than Falcon, ventilated front and rear and are a cheaper option than the performance brakes would have been as they are a current mass production item.

Sounds good, but I'll proabably hang out until the new shape Falc arrives.

when will the next falc arive 2006 or 2007

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

A mate of mine is a Ford engineer in Geelong and he said that Ford are on a good wicket with the current BA shape. A memo was sent round about 6 months ago reconfirming that Ford will maintain there current BA shape until end of 2007.....

They added that they did not want to get negative feedback from current BA owners and unlike Expensive Daewoo which changes its shape every 12 months (albeit very minor changes with new releases) they are conscious of trying to maintain resale value.

Anyway, these were his words and so far he has been spot on with things in the past.....

Dont break my balls if you dont believe him !!! Make up your own mind..........

oh no :snack:  Will the XR6T and the XR8 be quiter?  :crybaby:  I love the way they sound.

I think they were referring to "cabin" noise. ie, what you hear inside.

The VE SS is tipped to have a 5.3L V8 in it. The LS2 6L will be solely for use in the HSV models as the SS was coming too close to the Clubsport in terms of performance.

Good to see the utes are getting TCS for the first time.
