Taken from another forum:

Dynamic Stability Control (ESP) will be standard on selected models (Fairmont Ghia, XR6T, XR8, Fairlane/G8/LTD, Territory Ghia) )and, unlike the Commodore, is available on the V8 models.

Traction control is standard on all petrol models, including Utes.

Under full throttle, there's a six decibel sound reduction (10 decibel drop would be approximately half as loud to the human ear.)

To get the 6 decibel reduction, they've introduced a 'lofted outer dash.' This is a two-piece part that works as an absorptive barrier to attenuate broad band noise from the engine. The lofted outer dash works in conjunction with the dash panel and firewall to help insulate the driver and passengers, particularly from high frequency annoyance noises. Bitumastic pads and Absorptive roof-liner have also been used.

Retuned exhaust systems. Careful retuning of the exhaust systems on both the Barra 190 I6 and Barra 230 V8 delivers quieter cars with an improvement in the quality of the exhaust note of both engines. This is to meet new noise pollution regs that come in next year.

They're using a new‘Smart’ alternator which is spins slower but has a higher output, therefore there is less noise and an increased fuel consumption.

They've made improvements to the sealing, 26% better than the BA apparently.

The Territory Ghia gets a reverse camera that works with the ICC screen. It's an option on the TS.

Monotube shock absorbers on all but the basic XL Ute.

Performance brakes standard on XR6 Turbo and XR8 sedans and utes along with an 230 V8 sedan. They are: 322 x 28 mm front disc with pillar vented rotor 328 x 26 mm rear disc with pillar vented rotor.

All SY Territory and BF Falcon models with DSC also feature Cornering Brake Control (CBC) which recognizes if a vehicle is in an oversteer situation during a braking manoeuvre.

The luxury models all get new 17-inch wheels (225/50 R17 94V)

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Seems strange that they would be doing something that increases fuel consumption ...

So are those performance brakes the same as the optional ones now?

that's a great change if they are.

that's what I would like to know too... surely not... unless there is nice price rise on the BF

Well the rear ones are certainly bigger than the premium brakes currently optional on the XRs.
