Standard XR6T auto should they be driven with traction control on or off

Do they break traction often in the dry under heavy throttle use ive only just got mine and just need some general info . How do you guys and girls rate the car good and bad points . Car seems great so far I onlt have one complaint I think it is just tyre noise apart from that I just love my T

duno about the autos but my 6-speed manual suffers severe clutch slippage with tc on, I just leave it off and let the diff do all the work

A stock auto is unlikely to break traction in the dry. TC does work well when road conditions are poor so I always leave mine on.

How do I rate the T? Great cars.

Ask my missus about traction control. She was trying to race a Statesman around a corner :pat: and if it wasn't for the traction control she would have probally put it in to pole. Myself I turn it off but a few time with the shiftkit turned on and cornering it has caught me off guard, but in a straight line a stock T has little chance of breaking traction.

I leave the TC on all the time, Played around with it off a few times. Can get a bit hairy esp in the wet without it if you have a heavy right foot.
