Good luck Dave, the GT and 3.0R are great cars. if you have to get a wagon they are unbeatable IMO.

Thanks for the vote of confidence in my choice.

They were also the car I was considering when I sold my T, in the end got an F6.

I went to see the dealer 3 times, he was going to ring me when they had a manual I could test drive, in May........ I am still waiting for his call. :crybaby:

The other reason I didn't get one, is they both come std with a hole in the roof, which severly restricts the rear head room even in the wagon. But if you dont need to cart about more than 2 adults you will be fine.

Seems like a nice car, not much fleet discount or haggling to be had though....be sure to let us all know how you go.

Hey richdave, seen you on MRT (I'm bbcrowdog). I'm in the same boat as you, considering GT or RB wagons (along with a host of other cars!!). My T is Sept 03, blueprint, manual, prem sound, 50000kms. Havent actually had my car priced yet, but my guesstimate is they'll offer about 25000, esp with the release of the BF. A mate of mine is gonna buy mine when I'm ready to trade, but my balloon is still 31500ish so I'll have to wait a while. Resale is about the only thing putting me off getting another T. My last car was a MY01 Liberty RX. Paid 37000, payout at nearly 3 years was 13500 and I sold it for 22000 (70000kms). I'll be happy just to break even this time :crybaby:

That's where I lurk these days...well at least till I decide what I will buy... Subaru offerd me a $24K trade (not enough) - Mine is a Feb 03 with 70K on the clock. I'd be happy if I could loose it for better than $26.5K although at that price I still feel I'm getting ripped off. I am suprised at the depreciation of these cars and The BF will really screw resale. Oh Ford, you've done it again. At least the Subaru's tend to keep their resale value longer and I should at least get enough to cover the balloon next time.
