I'm seriously thinking of moving out of the T and into an 8, I'm after something a bit different with a bit more poke than the T and a higher topend speed, anyone know much about These things?

Those things are excellent.

One of the best long distance touring 'GT' cars you can buy, very well engineered and built.

And arguably the best handling 2wd Porsche ever.

The only downside is parts and to a lesser extent servicing are killers.

The price is a bit high (although when I last looked a few years ago they were all above $125k ) but the k's are very very (almost too) low. :spoton:

Take one for a drive and your decision will be made.

I'd love a Porsche. Give me left nut for one. The 928 can be had for much less than $125K if you are prepared to go a bit older. They can be had quite cheap (less than a T) if one scoures the Trading Post.

Yeah, but they come with the 5.0 ltr, I'd like the 5.4 that comes in the GTS......
