Weather looked pretty crappy at one stage, but in the end it cleared for a couple of hours and let us get some runs in.12.55 was my best of the day. I found those missing kw's, and with an improved 60', got myself a new PB.Nice to meet the NSW/ACT crew, Arthur, Brian, Rob, Ivan, Geoff, Julian, Mick and all. Good guys I counted 12 BA's for the drive to Heathcote, plus Adam and Adam were up there already. It was a great turn out.Good job Craig with organising it all. The night meeting at Kittens South Melbourne and catching up with the Vic boys, putting some more faces to names, catching up with some of the usual suspects as well as the usual good laughs Would have been nice to spend some more time with everyone , so to anyone I missed I apologise Saturday was picking up the cars from HPF and of course the BBQ , more faces to more names, more banter and yet more beers Sunday was pretty much a mixed bag for me, the Phoon was pulling like a train and I was loving every 312 rwkw minute of it . First and only run was a PW (personal worst) of 18 secs as I smoked the clutch and had to back off half track with smoke pissing from the car, but from in front of the rear wheels Gave it some on the way home and all seems well and the stench is starting to dissipate. But it was good to see Flukey run a PB, Arthur crack the 12s in a manual and the Skunk run consistently all day, well done chaps Commiserations to Adam and Craig , but hey that's the drags and things break, I am sure better luck and times will follow.Great cruising back with the guys tonight the banter certainly made a big difference to the journey. No other "incidents" to report I don't think.Anyhoo about an hour and a half from home following Jeff , we both experience a significant double thud under our cars LHS.It was not until Phil ( Link ) a little further back came across a fresh carcass of what appeared to be a fox that we realised what had happened . Didn't see a damned thing, stupid thing commited suicide by running under the wheels.Get home put the car in the garage, and shutting the garage door I notice that the rear LH bumper has been stripped from its clips,LH rear tail light assembly popped, and a foot long section missing from the underside of the rear bar as well as a huge crack on the left hand corner. In otherwords a new rear bar required. D'Oh. They say it comes in 3s , well the Zipper tab on my FPV jacket sheared off when I got home( dont worry the Zip still works). Hopefully that is the end of it.My special thanks to particularly Craig and Renata for there hospitality, Craig for his oragnisation and getting everything to come together.Jeff for organisising everything at this end, well done mate. All the people that contributed to the gastronamic magnificence of the the BBQ on Saturday, also well done , we have some real Foodies amongst us.But finally thanks must go to the genuine and enthusiastic individuals that make this Forum the best ever. Fun times, new friends. People, you genuinely have a lust for cars, as I have seen some of Fords finest in the past few days , but more importantly you all possess a lust for life in general.Well done and thanks to everybody. Sorry for the long winded post. There is so much more that I have not captured and I will defer to others to provide the detail.Cheers allJewels

I heard that when he was being given a lift home he couldn’t remember where he lived! Julian was getting a bit worried, as the guy tuning his car 6 hours later was still drinking at 2am.Saturday morning to HPF to see Adams car, to watch Julian’s Typhoon being tuned. And what a smile Julian had when seeing the results. At Craigs I was asked to move my car so Craig could get his car out of the driveway. Next thing I know I’m in a cruise with 7 others T’s hooning around the suburbs. Next a joy ride with 4 guys in my car (about 300kg of ballast)… I know Marcus enjoyed it.Back at Craigs there was a bit of goose hunting going on, all in good fun.Gentle cruise up to Heathcote yesterday, with about 12 T’s, cursing the Melbourne wet weather.I don’t know how the guys managed to drive home after such little sleep.I took the lazy way home and flew back to Sydney. However, I had a great drive across the back country road from Heathcote to Seymour. No traffic, and 100 to 200 in 4th is unbelievably quick, and a chance to have a play. My apologies to those around me for the number of times I stalled in suburban cruising; clutch is the most aggressive thing I’ve ever driven.Pity I couldn’t hang around longer to see Adam, Craig and the other guys run the ¼, but as it was I still missed my 5pm flight.Best weekend in quite a while. We look forward to returning the hospitality when Craig & Renata come to Sydney, and hopefully Adam can make it as well.Great to meet you guys.Thanks.Brian
