Later in the day Darren Morgan on his second pass of the day got about 300 feet out and went into a power wheelstand and had to abort the run! The Cowin car appeared to torch a head/gasket from about 1000ft and should run even quicker this weekend at the East Coast Nationals. It was a great drive by Darren Morgan in the Lamattina car - he got out of the throttle before it went into a "blowover" and still managed to stab it again to soften the landing. That car earlier ran a 4.7 at only 252 mph !If any forum members are going out for a look, call in and say g'day. We will be competing in the Modified bracket - just look for the bright green motorcycle engined dragster in my avatar.
