Here's an easy modification you can make to your T and it WILL IMPROVE ECONOMY.

This is no sh1t, it actually makes a hell of a difference.

you need some cloth type tape and a golf ball.

just tape the golf ball to the bottom of your throttle pedal.

Well the Vaporate is fitted and the additional power is awesome. Well at least psychologically.

The only problem they when installing had was to access the intake manifold support bolts. I had a look no wonder they were a problem. The intake manifold gasket had to be changed to an aluminium gasket that came with the kit. The vaporate needs heat to be conducted to the tip of the injector and the old gasket was an insulating type. It took 3 hours for the kit to be installed so I'm glad I wasn't paying for the labour.

I'll fill the tank tonight at start recording the usage.

What type of golf ball works the best, Titelyst, Dunlop, Top Flite, Olympic, soft, medium or hard covered? Just want to get the best value for my money. :tease:

Tried the same trick with a red dot squash ball, noticed no bloody difference at all!! :tease:

Geez Redhawk, I would have thought it was obvious. I'd say it HAS to be one for Distance, not Spin....

Oh, and squash balls are for playing squash with...

Good, now off to the dyno mate for some real R&D, I don't seem to have the same fuel consumtion problems that you guy do with the T's, I want to know how things are going with the power gains.

I need results no paper to sell this mod to the little hand brake.

Who should I call at Vaporate? If Vaporate's in a benevolant mood and they want ginny cops, I'd be happy to "squeal like a pig". Hook me up.

F'N hell Im a cheap BA'stard. :spoton:

As I mentioned in an earlier post I used the Dyno-tab fuel saving tablets in the wifes Mazda 323.

They do work.

The result was 0.4 lt/100klm less than usual. This was over 3 tank fulls. But when you worked this out taking the cost of the tablet ($3.50) into account I saved $1.20 on a tank full 60lts.

For the extra mucking around with the correct amount of tablet and fuel ratio each fill I'm not going to bother continuing.

But but but! What has the world come too? Optima Red's (HP's?) were always the long drivers choice! I thought!

You mean I was loosing precious yards on my 280m drives! :spoton:

I suck at golf however, like they say, drive for show put for dough. Playing a round with my uncle I had put a ball on the green off the tee on a Par 4, real chance of an Eagle! Well, I walked away with a double bogey didn't I :pinch:

Lumpy :tease:
