All but 1 appeared ok. I noticed that one of the tyres has a nylon type "thing" comming out the side of it. Is this what they are refering to as splitting side walls. As I went through a few other threads I also came across one about tyres splitting over the tread. I discovered that two of my tyres had this. I would like to know for once and for all if this is a warranty issue with Dunlop. If they decide to replace them will I have to pay an amount due to ware??Other than that she just recently turned over the 20k mark and still makes me smile as I smash a WRP20 wrx (Controled conditions in straight line) Go the TRevheadrobbo

And Yes the Dunlop SP Sport 3000 does have a problem with the inside side wall cracking in some cases (but only on the inside wall). The only real way of telling wether you got a problem is by getting under the car and have a look. If they are starting or show signs of starting take them back!A bloke up here (Rockhampton) has had the same issue with same tyres, and the story was that if the tyre has still got a road worthy amount of tread on them, they have to replace them.Anyway good luck with your tyres, Kezz
