ive posted this before.

heres the short story

when accelerating my t ,fairly briskly it would get to about 5000rpm and just hit a wall like its starving for fuel, ive been to ford several times to no avail?

now its getting worse.now when it peaks out I change up a gear and the revs naturally drop down to about 3500 rpm as I accelerate it just wont go anywhere for about 5 seconds it just seems to starve.

now ive been thinking could the variable cam timing have anything to do with it

any help would be nice cause im getting to the end of my wits

also any ideas how to approach ford about this . :bouncey::bouncey::bouncey:

Any other noises? I'm thinking bad fuel/filter? mine does similar, but was fine when I took the ford mech for a run, very intermittant, does fuel level make a difference?

It almost sounds like a wastegate problem. Can you hear the turbo spooling at 3500 when it seems to do nothing? Maybe you have a bit of a sticky wastegate that takes a while to work, or a problem with the vacuum solenoid. Still, ford should be able to tell this straight away. If they can't find the problem mate see another dealer, they are obviously useless!

Yeah, sounds like too much of a definite problem not to have a direct answer like that.

Yeah definately see another dealer to try something else mate. Remember, it doesn't matter where you get the warranty stuff done, anywhere in Aus.
