I too think the cost of fuel will have an impact on the big car market.

Ford & Expensive Daewoo will both be feeling the pinch from Joe Family man not venturing into Turbo or V8 Land.

It's amazing of those ppl on this forum, the number of us that don't pay for fuel.

Yeah, yeah, rub it in, I wish I didn't have to pay for fuel!

Hit a new personal record the other night, for ANY car I've ever owned - managed to squeeze $81 worth of fuel into my T. The range indicator was also into single figures for the first time since I've owned the car. :k24t::spoton:

God, if I worked out all the money I've 'wasted' during my short life and said, "what if I spent it on...", I'd be one unhappy camper!

Nah, life's good, wasn't after sympathy at all, no regrets! :spoton:

Now I've finished :spoton: once ppl get used to the idea we will start buying these cars again, paying the big $$$ for the fuel and remember back to the times that fuel was below $2 and how cheap that was...

Big powerful cars are a funny thing, we hate paying for petrol for them and yet we can't seem to get enough of them... Short of wallet activily preventing us running these cars our desire to drive them will always win out...

I'm hoping a combination of 12 months + new model(s) + higher petrol prices will "encourage" the price of My Preciousss MkII (GT-P ) to come down, down, down ... :spoton:

She can sit in the garage through the week and I'll clean her and give her a tank of petrol and then drive her hard for a couple of days.
