A Good Time To Buy

yeh I know there's better deals to be had...trying to time it right. freeway I will hit up for a deal once I have a reasonable idea of the standard equipment on the incoming model.

I do think that $43k otr will be very achievable with luxury pack before the end of sept.

it's a never ending saga but buying 1 month before a new model build is probably the sharpest example you'll get of instant depreciation so you want to get it right.

see the interview with the Expensive Daewoo chairman on the carsguide website currently. you get a great insight into how the falcon and Late model camira are struggling in the age of $1.39 petrol. that will flow through to what is achievable both in the BAII runout and in the BF.

cheers

Who really cares about the price of petrol when the stuffs going to run out and then no amount of money will make a difference. And the above price of $38,990 on a XR6T is still more then the police pay, of $37,220.40.

My T without the options (base price) was $34,000. Hoorah, I get a better price than the police do! :)

You bet. National fleet price when I bought mine 18 months ago or so, was $39k, so this run-out is simply selling them at the REAL price, and Ford's still making a tidy profit.

why buy a new 1? I have 1 less than a year old manual with leather, 18" wheels, premium sound, envi green and only 15,200km would accept an offer over $30k (adam555@bigfoot.com.au)

hope this is ok to post here?

I picked up my runout T this week....

Mercury Auto..... standard interior etc......

Driveaway was 35,888 !!! ( Car was classed as a demo, but only had 70km on the clock )

I certainly have no complaints over the price.... Cars are the worst purchase we ever make.... the $$$ drop off as you drive along, so, if I can get some of the depreciation knocked off beforehand.... no problems.....

All I need now, is to find someone in Briss/ G.C. that can do a bit of work on it...... !!!!

Hi Jarrod,

Well, it was standard spec, so, all I added was XR floormats, and a towbar.....

What I'm now looking for, is a mild boost in power......

I used to have a Skyline R33 Turbo, and the XR6T has the same effect, if not MUCH MUCH BETTER..... I have a smile on my face after EVERY drive.....
