Hit a new personal record the other night, for ANY car I've ever owned - managed to squeeze $81 worth of fuel into my T. The range indicator was also into single figures for the first time since I've owned the car.

Nah, life's good, wasn't after sympathy at all, no regrets!

Posted 05/09/05 06:48 AM Share Posted 05/09/05 06:48 AM Now I've finished once ppl get used to the idea we will start buying these cars again, paying the big $$$ for the fuel and remember back to the times that fuel was below $2 and how cheap that was...Big powerful cars are a funny thing, we hate paying for petrol for them and yet we can't seem to get enough of them... Short of wallet activily preventing us running these cars our desire to drive them will always win out...

She can sit in the garage through the week and I'll clean her and give her a tank of petrol and then drive her hard for a couple of days.
