It has been calculated that if everyone in australia did not purchase a drop of petrol for one day and all at the same time, the oil companies would choke on their stockpiles. At the same time it would hit the entire industry with a net loss over 4.6 billion dollars which affects the bottom lines of the oil companies. Therefore september 1st has been formally declared "stick it up their behind " :spoton: day and the people of this nation should not buy a single drop of petrol that day.The only way this can be done is if you forward this e-mail to as many people as you can and as quickly as you can to get the word out. Waiting on the government to step in and control the

prices is not going to happen. What happened to the reduction and control in prices that the arab nations promised two weeks ago? Remember one thing, not only is the price of petrol going up but at the same time airlines are forced to raise their prices, trucking companies are forced to raise their prices which effects prices on everything that is shipped. Things like food, clothing, building supplies medical supplies etc. Who pays in the end? We do! We can make a difference. If they don't get the message after one day, we will do it again and again. So do your part and spread the word. Forward this email to everyone you know. Mark your calendars and make september 1st a day that the citizens of australia "enough is enough" :spoton:

So we spend 1679 BILLION Dollars a year on petrol??? That $1,679,000,000,000!

Waiting on the government to step in and control the prices is not going to happen.
Government USED to regulate many industries, yes, including the Petroleum industry but all the capitalist cried out for no more market intervention and we haven't looked back since :spoton:

This type of thing has been around for years.

It s a fact of life that it will NEVER happen, it is also incorrect as the fuel companies always maintain a stockpile and have big tanks to handel any oversupply.

What we need is a viable cheap source of renewable energy.

To stop the job losses in AU manufacturers of cars I think that anyone who owns an australian made car should get 25c a litre off their petrol.

This would reduce the amount of people buying foriegn small cars because of petrol savings. That would keep jobs and lots of money in the economy which would probably claw back the lost tax anyhow.

To combat high fuel prices, I p!ss in my tank every morning, and now get an extra 100km per tank! It also adds about 10rwkw, and noticeably reduces my 1/4 mile times.

I wont tell you what I do to increase boost!

Looks like my grandkids will one day be begging me to:

"make that xr6 turbo sound again grandad"

or

" What did a V8 burble used to sound like grandad"

Not sure if an electric motor with peak torque as soon as its on really appeals. Oh well oil's running out, may as well enjoy it while we can!
