PSI has run a 13.6 with a totally dead stock T I think

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

13.6 is a very good time, for what is done to his car, (I think he said he has cold air duct) but either way he has drove it real well to get the 60ft to run that time, and it takes a good car to, mine could only run a 13.9@101, and that was hard to get :spoton:

But that is still a great time nonetheless mate...

And your current time in the 11's, for your current power, is also damn good quality... You've done really well actually...

-----

Like I said somewhere else, I'd love to see a stock engined T (you can change ANYTHING ELSE, but the T must have nothing more than cold air) with virtually stock weight (spare removal, maybe even rear seat... big maybe) run a 12 second pass....

If someone could find a locker diff, with a 5.11 center (one that can handle the T's stock power) and put this through a high stall and down to some really sticky slicks, I reckon you could get a 12.8 out of it...

Think about it:

With a shift kit and some strength work, the 4 speed would slam into each gear, so you won't lose any time because of the gearbox. The engine would be turning at about 5000rpm in 4th gear, getting you over the line at 165km/h...

Yeah; that would get a 12 I reckon...

Damn it would suck on the road though, as 1st gear peaks at 52km/h at redline (5800) and you would have to have 3400rpm to do just over 111km/h...

Go Go, Cpt. Fuel Efficient...!!

I wonder how the ZF 6 speed would go with a set of 4.11's.... Hrmm...

Well, on the road, the ZF and 4.11's would hit 110km/h at just under 2750rpm in 6th, which isn't completely horrible...

Infact, that would be awesome! The extra average tractive effort from having 4.11's would also be something like 20% higher (obviously that doesn't mean 20% faster though). That would go really hard, and because of the short 1st gear, it would hook up well on slicks.

I actually think the new BF, when mated to the ZF 6 speed and shorter diff centers, will supprise the utter crap out of alot of people.

I also think we'll see alot more diff changes becoming a more popular option for an easy and quick performance increase.

I can see strengthened 3.73 diffs becoming very popular... Remember, 6th gear has a ratio of 0.69 in the ZF and 4th gear has a ratio of 0.68 in the BTR.

This simply means that whatever is deemed to be a perfectly streetable diff gear now, will be just as streetable when mated to the ZF 6 speed. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference at cruise.

I really think some seriously unexpected times are going to be run with this new gearbox (and added torque)... I really do....

I for one, Can't wait!
