Ok Rossco I have done some Mythbusting for you.

Heading downhill along Erindale/Yamba drive at about cough ninety cough in 5th yields an instant L/100 rate of 0.5 pop it into angel gear and it slowly rises to about 1.6 at the same speed. :msm: Perversely this increases to about 2.5 in 6th. Perhaps another indication that all is not as it should be, in 6th. :msm:

And just out of curiosity heading in the opposite direction uphill flatout in 2nd returns a reading of about 86.9L/100ks. :msm:
