Go Dynowogs or Street Tuners, for under a grand that's pretty good.

I am going to go Dynowogs only because I dont want to grind the chassis as I am installing it myself.

If Street Tuner posts up 3 runs back to back on the dyno with heat soak comparison like Dynowog did I may reconsider.

Brett.

$300? gee, I'd be terribly worried about slapping a $300 cooler in my pride and joy.

Actually, this is just the thread I was looking for. I know it has been done before, but we weren't all always here before! I'm looking into doing mine sometime. I would definately want a silver colour, and well engineered.

Has anyone tried using the latest PWR cooler? They look brilliantly made, just not sure on the results though or price?

As far as a Phoon cooler, it seems to me a new one is so expensive when compared to a direct replacement aftermarket one with better results and flow. The only way I would consider a phoon cooler is if it was at the right price (not $1400)

Even then, the idea of a second hand cooler for $800 or so, doesnt sit too well when you get the other options new for the $1000. The phoon coolers are pretty well made though.

Im just not sure which way to go, as some I have seen have cumbersome pipe attachments on the ends, Others are just way too much for street use involving hacking away half the car, and others are an absolute bugger to fit.

Any suggestions?

brett yes I did these test's over a std cooler and with the jap cored bar and plate cooler the test were so good due to size and efficiancy of the core!!!

I would say that tuner's, rajab's (another good one), monza's (soon to be released and designed by me), pwr's and mine are all within 20% of each other!!!!!

20%?? Are you referring to Flow?, Effectiveness? Build Quality or Cost?
