2 complaints with mine no make that 3

1/sh*thouse thin paint on front bar :msm: , chips if you look at it

2/pissy little FPV badges on the mats got sucked into the vacuum at the car wash because Ford were too stingy with the glue.WTF. So I now have plain Black mats with 2 Grey plastic dots

3/Split in LH front visor seam

just little annoyances

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Noticed some small stone chips in my front bar today........I guess you can get matching paint pens or similar to fix these......might need a box of 'em by the sound of it!

I near choked with laughter when I read about your FPV badges getting sucked into the vacuum. I know how pissed off I would be at $200 a set!

My mats were fitted by the dealer as an afterthought and they didn't put the studs on the floor to hold them in place so it keeps getting jammed up under the clutch! They're gonna fix it next week though.

Yep, my grey section of front bar is now a shade of red/grey.. dodgiest lick of colour I have seen on any car..

My little FPV badge went flying off when I shook the mats...

There was a new Vixen F6 at work the other week, just been taken off the truck from FOMOCO, and it had stone chips in the front bumper already and the IC was just peppered with chips as well.

It is a relief to hear about other experiences with the poor paint on the front bar. Like someone else said, I have more stone chips in 8 months that 2 years in the T!

I have decided to leave it but I still cringe every time I wash and dry and I notice a "few" more. When I run my finger over a chip the surrounding paint is soooooooo thin I reckon even moths are causing the paint to chip :msm:

Is there anything we can do collectively as there does seem to be a issue?

I washed my phoon before the dyno day yesterday and I have MORE bloody stone chips except, these ones are on the SIDES of the front bar - not even facing forward...........both sides!

The paint quality is sh*t. Simple as that. I also have a nice bubble in the passenger side skirt at the rear. Driveline shunt, still as shocking as it ever was. Ford, you really should be ashamed of yourselves.

Yep.. do that regularly...... When I get the laptop setup in the car, fridge in the boot, dvd player happening, I think I can rent the house out and save money on morgage and invest it in fuel.......

Might go and wash it now actually
