hey people

just a stab in the dark what realistic figure would a xr6t mkII with the 6 speed maual go down the quater with about between 350-400 rwkw????

I still think it's down to the driver, so many people say the manual is never as fast as the auto but I disproved that along with many other people I'm sure... keep the revvs high enough and you won't lose boost unless ya running 15psi!

In stock form, the manual will always be faster than the auto if driven properly.

Boost loss between gear changes is a myth and only happens if you take too long to change.

If a manual robs less power than an auto, then its clear why it must be faster.

As engine power levels increase it's a different story, the power loss between the auto and manual becomes less significant so the auto is easier to run and repeat.

So, a standard Xr6t manual should be faster than the auto..in theory and in practice...practice is the key word for a manual.
