Not as quick as it should.Maybe with a Hollenger 6speed.Mate has a 6 speed XR with between 350-400rwkw and it has only run a 12 sec pass.

I think its cause the manual T lose's so much boost inbetween gear chances

Same think with all turbos

fastest auto vl 8.5

fastest manual vl 10.8 maybe a little bit faster now

The owner is conservative with his car but trust me when we were at willowbank,he kick my butt pretty hard.I took off 2nd gear, auto at 100 kmh and he took off in 4th manual and he legged pretty hard away from me,harder then any car ive run that's beaten me.NOT MANY!!!!! LOL

So the car is obviosly alot faster than the 12 sec 1/4 time it run.

Recently at Calder Bresciani Racing raced a 5speed VL Turbo and was pulling 110mph at half track although there was clutch problems which ruined the 2nd half. I'd expect to see a 9second 5 speed VL very soon.

The last T I drove (which had only 75km's on the clock, so it was brand spanking), I managed to keep the thing pretty much on boost between the 1 - 2 and 2 - 3 shift.... No flat change, just punish the synchromesh, she'll be right mate! I have to say the person in the passenger seat was scared...

My moto is, if the synchro mesh doesn't do its job and catch up the next gear then I'll just use force and do it myself! :) No, not really, I don't punish every car I'm in, but it just goes to show, if you can catch the turbo still spinning into the next gear, you should be able to catch the tail end of say, 3 - 4 psi more than if you shift like a grandma...

That would be the one that ran into the wall at heathcote doing a burnout :spoton:

Yes it did big mph at half track but dont forget everytime he puts his foot on the clutch he loses time manuals always show a higher mph but slower time but in the T's case I dont think anyone that can really drive them has tried to race yet
