I am thinking that the fuel press reg is different on the F6 engine too..... not all that hard to change though.

Could be wrong.....

so are all the senses on a standard t to make this independant variable cam timing work? If not can they be just simply be fitted. Also would I assume that a mark 1 T does not have any of these senses to allow this to happen. Need Info

Everything is there even in th Mark I. PCM Software is not available. As soon as Ford wright the code to make it happen all will be good. Motec and some other ECU's can control camshaft timing. But you have to way up the cost compared to outcome.

So what's going on Jeff. :spoton:

When you talk about a Typhoon tune for the XR6turbo is it just the engine parameters?

How do you plan on flashing it in?

Why can it not be used on the auto?

If you can flash it in you must be able to determine what you want to flash.

I would say they're going to flash it in with the WDS, just as a Ford dealer would.

Since there's no auto Typhoon there's not a Typhoon calibration to suit a car with an auto trans.

I don't think it will work anyway.

Adam,

I suspect your right.

Would'nt another option be to fit a Typhoon PCM to the XR6turbo. I heard a wisper that the PCM's they are not all that costly. Cheaper that the CAPA edit box. Trouble would be getting your hands on one.
