I changed mine to a 3" single s/s system with a hi-flow cat and definately noticed the difference in the low - mid range without having a retune (customed edit).

no retune??

Yes but not before bigger injectors were fitted at the same time so no way of knowing what if any rwkw increase there was.

wouldnt you need a retune after the injectors getting fitted??

Just out of curiosity Jordak, did you do before and after dyno runs when you replaced your exhaust?

Cheers

Hi Vibe Ute........I actually did before going the Edit.........

First I removed the Centre Muffler and replaced it with Dual 2 1/2" S/Steel pipes and hotdogs as well as MagnaFlow dual 2 1/2" S/Steel tips......

Before this fitting I got 162RWKW's........I know this is low. but this was from a dyno that's renowned to be approx 20RWKS's lower then everyone elses.....

Then after the fitting and replacing the filter with a BMC as well, the dyno got 181RWKW's.......

Then once the CAPA was installed, I got 242RWKS.....(that's around 250-250RWKW's)

Hope this helps........

Had the custom edit for a while before I fitted the exhaust and held off getting a re-tune until I had the injectors fitted shortly thereafter.
