just wondering if anyone have ever had the typhoon flash from ford being programed into a normal t. cause I know a mate at my ford dealer and he said its posible and is keen to put it in my car.

another thing I know that the bf has independent cam timing on both cams just wondering if that typhoon has that already????

Yes the Typhoon already has independant cam control.

Because of this I think flashing your XR6T with a Typhoon calibration won't work.

What about flashing your Phoon with a stock edit ?? or are they specically mapped to the Phoon ??

I think it would be specically mapped to the Typhoon.

Nick would know for sure.

First time I have heard that there was a difference in the cam timing etc between the cars. If that is right - it makes more sense as to why they make more power than just from the extra boost standard.

well by the sound of my ford dealler I think that they have flashed a t befor with typhoon info I mean there is really no parts on a typhoon eccept for the 2nd cai to give the car more power except the computer and both cars share the identical eec5 computer so I cant see why it cant be done

Prodrive have flashed a T with the Typhoon parameters... my mate jokingly asked me if I wanted it, then my eyes lit up and he went all reserved worrying about the transmission... heh DOH! :)

Well, if this information is coming from your Ford dealer I'd stay WAY AWAY from him. I certainly wouldn't let him anywhere near my car if he thinks the BAs have an EECV computer. Maybe you should walk up to him and whisper the word ... "blackoak" ... ask him if he's ever heard of it.
