Is it just I'm a crap ex Expensive Daewoo driver or are they hard to get the hang of? Is it just I'm a crap ex Expensive Daewoo driver or are they hard to get the hang of?I know the T5 was notchy, and awkward and slow on hard shifts, that's why I bought the auto. But I thought the T6 was sorted out, with a better shift action.....Maybe its just a bit stiff due to being new.I must admit, though, even my manual Supra would would sometimes feel notchy... usually after my wife had driven the car. It would take about 10 of my gear changes to make it feel feel smooth again? But I never used to do hard, flat changes. I'd just let the gear lever glide itself to the next slot. Felt bloody smooth as silk every time..... The japs know how to design good gearboxes. There's proper bearings (not bushes) at just about every interface of mechanical movement.Sorry, but I don't have a manual, so can't really offer prpoer feedback for your problem. Smooth as silk for a box that can handle 450 + NM of torque could be when its warm though.
