l agree with the others, option 3 or 4. 3 represents better value than anything you will get in a BF F6 for at least 8 months from now. Tough choice, if you are in the market now l would go option 3. If you are patient waiting until Feb next year may be the go. Then pickup an 05 BF on demo.

I go for option 3 also. Being second hand, you may even be able to haggle a bit to get the price down a little more - or have you already done that??

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

option 3 started at $59000, option 2 at $55000,that is just over the phone,I havent even gone in and flashed some cash yet :kissmy:

I could wait for option 4 but I need a car very soon

dont the brembo's cost a fortune to replace ?

Nah, only if you buy genuine replacements through Ford. Less than $500 for a set of pads aftermarket so while expensive not prohibitive.

if you cant wait and need a car then option 3 would be for me :kissmy:

Option 1 - purely for the year... :spit::spit:

Option 3 - depends what sort of driving areyou going to be doing?

Option 4 - worth looking into for comparison.

If you're keeping the car for a while, definately go option 3.

13500 kms is bugger all when you pick up all those juicy options.

2004/05 year model in the longer term will mean stuff all.

Hanging out for a BF is only relevent if you want an auto.

I think you could work the price a bit more. Walk in with a cheque for $52000 and tell them to take it or leave it. Oh, and get them to throw in tint and some mats as well.

I just went and had a look and test drive of option 3

left front wheel has had a gutter job, spare is also guttered and very worn

3 or 4 cracks in paint and a few scuffs as well

salesman was very good, asked if I wanted to drive alone or he could come as I did not know the area,he said I dont care how you drive it !!!!!

hehe,he is like 60 in the shade, spun through first into the limiter, flat change into 2nd with a lovely chirp,I think it now has nail marks in the pasenger dash!!

the car feels very 2nd hand, the leather is very poor, feels horible

overall not very impresed, sure the brakes feel and look something special,I just dont think I can justify spending more on a second hand car than what I can get a new one for

atleast I am sold on a typhoon, that was my first drive, much better than my pursuit

Hmmm. Definately go with what feels good. Remember brakes can always be upgraded if you want more than the standard stoppers. Leathers nice, but hey. Given your comments, I would personally lean toward option 2 now.

I'm going through similar decisions myself, having only test driven one phoon. Looks like I'll be waiting to see how the BF F6 turns out.
