Also, has anyone fitted the vented bulge bonnet that is being sold by HO in Melbourne?

I've seen a HO BA with this bulge/shaker bonnet. Didnt look that flash actually in the flesh.

Those wheels though, I know where I have seen them.Mmmmmm

Dave,

I saw you a few weeks ago going down Ballarat Road. Your car really caught my eye. But I'd say a no for the stripes.

Matt

Here is the shaker on my XR8 Ute. It looks tough and breaks up the single colour as well as letting heat out extremely well.

Brett.

On these bonnets, is the rear panel an exit for heat, and the front duct holes intakes or - do the intakes - pull the flow to extract the heat out of the back?

Also - at speed, the area in front of the windscreen is a low pressure zone, and I have seen backward facing vents suck air into the engine (rather than letting it out). Any idea how these ones work (ie has anyone put some bits of wool on and taken it for a run down the road?)

love those vented bonnets, hate the stripes...

do yourself a favour and don't gt'erise your car with too many of it's accessories... with the c2r kit and the GT wing and HO bonnet, I think you'll have a mean looking package, stripes will just overcook the mix!

no offense to the guys who have them.

Dyno-steves old xr6turbo looked awesome with the vented bonnet too...

hi Dave,

mate, bonnet bulge = pass, the two triangle cuts outs look :tease: IMO

Stripes = take or leave em, mostly leave em.

Sometimes we get a bit bored and want a change, only normal. BUT, you wouldn't go splashin more paint on the picasso hanging on a gallery wall just cause your sick of looking at it would you?

Don't mess too much with Pashen IMO mate, then again, if the dollars to change it all back are not an issue, change away. Good luck with it anyways. :nyyaah:
