Ford V8 Superbreakfast

When I picked up my F6 yesterday, my local sales manager was kind enough to give me his seat at the Ford V8 Superbreakfast held this morning in Newcastle. All of the Ford drivers were there.

Most of the talk was about the racing, etc. . . . . which you would expect, but I managed to have a brief chat with John Bowe about the Typhoons. He said that they are very impressive car and he also said that they will soon be released in an AUTO!! Matter of weeks apparently.

As much as I like an auto, I still like the exitement of driving a manual performance car.........even if the auto would be quicker over the quarter!

6 Speed Auto ???????

I was at a food shop across the road from FPV on Thursday and there were a heap of people wearing FPV gear. I asked one about the Auto 6 speed and they said it was a great gearbox and it would be out real soon. It will also be a FPV ONLY item for the near future.

I also asked aboutthe turbo territory and they said that the F6 problems and the new auto have delayed this projct, but it WILL HAPPEN.

There were a awfull lot of white and Black Terri's in there yard with no other colours.....weird.

The cold air inductions and air filters and throttle bodies are made by ss inductions for jb.

I know this because not only is kevin from ss a great friend of mine I was at his factory the other day and saw all the gear there.
