philldub Member 81 Member For: 20y 3m 18d Posted 13/08/05 01:10 AM Share Posted 13/08/05 01:10 AM Its a big world out there and like all mod'd cars there are good and bad examples. I think the T is a great performance/family car, I,ve got one.But them GTR,s are still one of the best road cars ever built especially for the money. There a white one going around that runs 1minute 15 seconds flat around sandown on road tryes that's like 15th on a grid of V8 supercars, it ran 11.0 flat on the same rubber at 142 mph it has perfect street maners and was even used as a wedding car. You dont have to be real smart to work out with the mph its got it would hose any T any where except if you wanted to put 5 adults in it. Put a set of slicks on it and good fuel and it would run 9s all day. Some times people need to take there head out of the sand and have a look around, theres some amazing stuff out there if you look. And the XR6T is one of them but not the only one.

Maxx Power Want E46 M3 Member 327 Member For: 22y 2d Location: Adelaide Posted 13/08/05 07:28 AM Share Posted 13/08/05 07:28 AM (edited) I have driven both stock and modified S15's as well as owning an XR6T. The S15 is faster in the hills but slower in a straight line. Simple. Some of you should go take one for a drive, they are quite good little cars and will probably suprise you with the pace they hold through corners. Just don't get caught out below 2500RPM going up hill! Nothing like the monster torque of the Barra motor! Give it some time and effort and the Falcon engine will be punching some extremely huge numbers. It has to, it is just physics. A 4 litre engine is a much bigger air pump that a 2 litre engine or a 2.6 litre (RB26DET) engine.yeah the SR 20 go good with mods but the block cannot handle big power without being line bored(RESLEAVED) to stop cracking between cylinders.I no this as people I know with 200 sx nissans have had to go through to extract some power out.So there goes the theory of being indestructable. The rest of us, who take this as it comes "don't give a toss"Oh, and some of your 'Gold' from the other Forum.................................."please whipper snappers before you start a sh*t fight atleast get the basics right!""C&V performance slapped a current xr6t motor into a territory 4x4 and performed a nizpro stage 3 kit (around 370rwkw) and the 2tonne+ b**ch pulled its ass down the 1/4 to a healthy 11.7 sec run!!! now that's impressive!! lol."OK, so where in the News did C&V fit a turbo motor to a terry and fit a Nizpro satge 3????????????????Please provide links. And explain to us "whipper snapper" why you posted this??
