hey guys I juz read through that forum, I dunno if ne one agrees with me or not but I think theres a lack of knowledge about the xr6t in that site. I mean come on they didnt even know that the T's were doing 10's if I was too compare my with another I would damn make sure I have all the facts.

Here we go again eh.. I think they are being quite civilized over there.. They seem to have more arguements going on between themselves than XR6T vs S15..

I do seem to recall an S15 built over here in the west that made something like 700rwhp a few years back.. from 2Lt's (stroked I think to 2.2 or something?? ) that's damn impressive..

I agree with that statement. but I still think theres a lack of knowledge about the xr6t not just in that site but all around.

I have came across many people that juz wount accpt the the xr6t's are doin 10's no matter wat.. they juz stick to that.

I agree with that. Anyway, if you are not into T's how are you expected to know how well they go.

The only think I know of Silvias is they are popular with the younger guys and drift really well. As for how quick they are, I would have NFI.

Be careful boys or they might want to race you round a corner and then we might all struggle and if they get too cranky they might go and get the s15's big brother the GTR and then Adam you could have some drama even in a straight line

I don't mean to stir trouble but NS.com is always good for a laugh. I have never encountered a more one-eyed and biased bunch of people. There was even a thread in there a while ago where a guy was saying he would rather own his S13 Silvia to a brand new M3... horses for courses for sure, but I think that shows the extent of some people's bias.

At the end of the day though, its a Silvia forum so they will always think their car is better.. same way Fords are better than Holdens on this forum, and the ways that Holdens are better than Fords on Expensive Daewoo forums.

IMO, just enjoy what you have and like, and let people think they have the better car if that's how they feel about it. No number of words posted on the net will change people's minds or perceptons... just give them a wink as you blow by them

I know a few hot GTR and I can only think of maybe one or 2 that would beat me and they have mega buck spent on them

look at the gtr that wins auto salon dyno comp 600+rwkw and its runs 10's lol plz

I can't speak for that particular GTR but a lot of people mod their cars specifically to win dyno comps ie the power comes on all at once with a very narrow powerband which would basically be unstreetable, hence the "slow" time. Are you referring to Leawah's purple GTR?

I know I'd rather have a 300kw car with a smooth power delivery which can be driven everyday than a 600kw dyno queen which would be a pig to drive on the street and lag like a mofo on every gear change.
