We have an S15 locally that ran a 10.4sec quarter and is driven regularly on the street. They aren't a car to be laughed at and are well balance for spirited driving.

ill say that benny has a pretty good point... SR20DET's are the strongest 4cyl motor out there, with a bit of work they will become a screaming monster... but most silvias has CA18's under them...

id still back the T before a silvia...

Ran agaist my work mates s15, the only mod he has is the removal of the resriction in the waste gate( cost him $2) which changes the boost from 8psi to 11 and mines bog stock 6 speeder and still beat him by half a car, so a stock s15 got no chance. S15 are great cars but I could not live with one, zero space for rear seat passengers and the seats are rock hard, spent two hours in my mates and my back was killing me. I will take the T any day.
